Need a camera good for action shots with zoom
Budget is $400

How many megapixels will suffice for you?
I don't plan to print anything greater than 8 x 10
* What optical zoom will you need?
Want the most I can get for the money...but speed is more important.
* How important is “image quality” to you? (Rate using a scale of 1-10)

Do you care for manual controls? Yes...especially to minimize delay
* What will you generally use the camera for?
Camera will be used for outdoor shots of dogs running and jumping. Especially concerned about the ability to capture dogs in mid air as they jump.
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Largest would be 8 x 10
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Occasionally
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
