PNY cards

Does anyone have any experience with PNY brand standard speed SD cards? I saw a pretty good price this week on a 512 Meg card that was about US$40. I know it's probably not blazing fast, because they advertise their high speed cards as 5mb/sec, but at that price I thought it might not be a bad idea to have one as a spare in case of emergencies. Does anyone know how well PNY cards perform? Thanks.

I have a 512mb PNY card for my panasonic camera and it seems to work just fine. No problem so far. It is a little on the slow side though. But I have not invested in any high speed cards. I just go with what is cheaper.
