Background: I had a Sony DSC-P8, a damn fine little camera and I REALLY REALLY liked it. Well, my roommate destroyed it last night so it is no longer usable :( .
So I need a new camera. Roommate is accepting responsibility so funds are not too much of an issue. I want to stick with sony because I have a bunch of accessories for it (memory cards, card readers, chargers, cases, etc). I want to replace the P8 with another point n' shoot camera. My biggest thing is that the P8 was so small and so lightweight, that is what I want in a new camera. The P8 is a ~3.2 megapixel camera, and the new one around that same resolution is good. The pictures that my old P8 took were usually shared with a lot of people, so super-high megapixel cameras are no ideal because of the file size.
I do have a nice Fuji FinePix, it is my nice manual camera for nice shots, artistic shots, etc. So a simple point n' shoot is all that is needed.
So, any suggestions on replacements? BTW, I have already looked at the DSC-P72, and I consider it to be too heavy and bulky. Just to give people an idea. Also, I will entertain the idea of a used camera.
Thanks!
