Does anyone use a wide angle conversion lens on their FZ5 lens hood adaptor? I have found a couple of lenses that have a 55mm thread but I have no idea if they would be compatible. If I found a lens that fit, would my auto focus still work?

It is my understanding tha the Wcon 07 is compatable but the DCR6600 works real well with the FZ5 here is a link to follow

I just bought the Raynox rt5264p adapter and dcr6600 lense. I did not do the modifications to my Lumix lens hood adapter because the vignetting is so minimal. Just a bit in the corners, which would be easy to clean up in photoshop. This is a nice lens and makes a significant difference without noticeable distrortion. Thanks.

I understand that lovelife is going to have a special stepring that will fit the FZ5 and FZ30 and will eliminate the vignetting. If not I can show you a picture using a 55 to 58 mm stepring and some glue that will do the trick also.
Give Lovelife a little time or send him an Email, if the glue does not appeal to you.
