I've just purchased a cheap (£12 at Jessops in the U.K.) 55mm +4 close-up lens. This enables the FZ5 to focus down to 20cms at full zoom (any setting) and thus means that an object 2cms long just fills the frame horizontally. A very good image size at a sensible working distance.
