Please help fz5 or fz20

Hello everyone,
please help me in deciding which camera to buy I am in India and here only FZ5 and Fz 20 are available though i was interested in buying fz 30 but now it cant be done since its not available here,Please suggest which one is better fz5 or fz20

Since you say the FZ30 has your attention then I think the FZ20 would be more for you as it has most of the manual features of the FZ30. but if size matters the FZ5 is a fine camera.
But its my guess the FZ30 will be available soon in India, as it was introduced in the UK already.... ahead of schedule.

Other problem i am facing in india is that Panasonic ppl dont sell their cameras so i would have to buy them through the grey market,I contacted the panasonic head office in india and they told me its some sort of company policy to not sell their cameras in india, and yes plase tell the results of which camera is better, I can wait for a month if the Fz 30 is as good as the features say.

Well I do not know if I would want a Grey market camera , at least I would not want one in the USA. But if you are comfortable with that,In my Opinion the FZ20 was a small upgrade over the FZ10 and the FZ5 is very similar to the FZ20 except for the size and it uses a slightly differant grade lens but its still a very good camera but the FZ30 is much improved over the previous models.

I did check out the panasonic india site but as i told you the company is not marketing the digicams in india.On a personal note which camera would u suggest the fz 20 or the fz 30 as after buying this camera i dont want to buy a new one for atleast 2yrs so i need a long term solution,

Do not get me wrong they are all fine cameras but if you want the best ultrazoom available at this time the FZ30 is the one.
