View Full Version : date imprint

I have an Olympus C-770 Ultra Zoom, and I am trying to figure out if I can get it to automatically imprint the date into the photo. So far, I can only print the date/time with the photo if I use the Camedia software that came with the camera. I would like it to automatically imprint the date into the actual image so that it will print the date in whichever program I open it, like other digital cameras do. I have already tried e-mailing Olympus and they never responded.

In all honesty I can't say I've ever seen digital camera shots with a date/time watermark. Film - yes, but not digital. Not to say it doesn't exist though.
Have you tried looking in the manual and FAQs over at the Olympus site? if your camera can do it, it will be in the manual:

Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I've looked in the manual and on the Olympus web site.
I know of 2 other digital cameras that imprint the date in the image: Kodak (don't remember the model - it broke and we replaced it with this new Olympus) and the HP Photosmart R707.
