FZ30 Indoor example?

Does any FZ30 owner could post some indoor shots,pls?

I took these to post on another forum ...I do not think many believed it was as dark as I say.
The exif is included with the photos and if you check the shutterspeed I think it becomes apparent that the light is very low. And the shutterspeed is too slow to take casual photos but I took them to show the noise or lack of it.

The FZ 30 along with most any non DSLR needs a flash indoors.

Gene just looked at these low light shots & I must say they look OK too me, probably pretty similar to what you would have got with your old FZ20. I don't think I will trade up from My FZ20 though for pure financial reasons but was just interested to know if you felt the change from FZ20 to FZ30 was worth doing photographically.

I took some photos last night for someone and just like the indoor shots I do not think anyone can realize how dark it really was.
I think the FZ30 indoor photos are a little better than the FZ20 would have got, probably due to the in camera processing. I had the NR on low so it could have done much better at removing the noise.
That is one area where there was an improvement in the FZ20 over the FZ10 (or at least I feel it was) even though overall the FZ 10 had less noise.
But otherwise I think the photo quality of the 3 cameras are very similar.
But I would say that while the upgrade from the FZ10 to the 20 was probably not worth it, the upgrade to the FZ30 is definately worth it to me.
Panasonic seemed to address everything I thought was wrong with the FZ20 plus some.
But that may not be the case for you, There were 2 threads going on the other forum yesterday about some of the things that I feel are definate improvements and some others do not like them.( can't please everyone)
The faster startup and faster focus seem to be enough for me to upgrade,
but there are many more improvements.
But as far as photo quality it would not be worth the money.

Thanks Gene a very informative & honest reply. As you say can't please everyone. Personally I'm pretty happy now I've settled in with the FZ20 so will probably stick with it & start looking through some of the many accessory recomendations on this forum in the run up to Christmas. ;)
