FZ5 and 2G SD Card

Hi,
i was wondering if FZ5 can be used with a 2G SD Card?
i hear it only support till 1G yet saw in another forum that 2G can work with FZ5.

Anyone who can verify this with a FZ5 and a 2G SD Card?

While I do not have a FZ5 I am sure it works many have reported that it does indeed work.
It works with A FZ10 - 20 and 30 why not the FZ5.
In fact someone reported it works with the FZ1.

The user manual states that the biggest supported card is 1GB ....

Dont have a 2GB card to try, so take it for what it's worth.

id avoid big value cards and go for several smaller cards.
if a large card ie: developed a fault you loose everything or if you lost it or got some stuff stolen.
at least with say 4x 512 cards you wont have them all develop faults at the same time.
might be a bit dearer to buy but i think its a safer bet

It should work because the SD cards are formatted in FAT and that goes up to a maximum formattable 2,1 GB.
