Hi,

I don't know anything about camera's so I would appreciate it if you guys could give me some answers on the following questions. I would like to buy a digital camera only for filming (to film football tricks of myself). The quality doesn't have to be superb but just decent, and I would also like to be able to film for at least severall minutes at one time. Now I found this camera on the net and I consider to order it, it's pretty cheap and I think/hope I will be able to make decent vids with it:

Yes, I will buy a packet. I tought it was smart to buy a bigger memory card and to buy rechargable batteries. Now how long will I be able to film with a 512 MB card ? And how long could I film before the cam is out of energy with those batteries ?

If there are any other things you would consider (maybe a bether cam, only for filming or other things I should add to the packet), plz tell me :)

(The OLYMPUS Camedia C-370 Zoom is also known as the D-535Z)

Here's an excerpt:
Movie Mode

The D-535Z isn't going to win any awards for its movie mode. You can record silent movies at 320 x 240 (15 fps) until the memory card or internal memory is full. A lower resolution 160 x 120 mode is also available. Filling up the internal memory takes just 36 seconds at the higher quality setting.

You cannot use the zoom lens during filming, despite the fact that the camera does not record sound.

Movies are saved in QuickTime format.
