I recently noticed a dead pixel in my pictures (a red spot appearing in the same location in every shot). This is a Powershot S2 IS.
I went back and reviewed pictures. It seems the dead pixel started immediately after I landed after a 10.5 hour flight. The first dead pixel I could find was a photo taken in the airport when I arrived. Would that be mere coincidence, or is there anything that could have happened to cause this? (X-ray machine?)
