wide angle lens

I know that I can attach a wide angle lens onto my digital camera. But I have a question. Would I be better off with the fisheye type or the true view type?

It depends on what kind of photo you are trying to take. Fish-eye is for artistic shots. See photo.

Well, on digital APS-C sized sensors, because the crop area is smaller, usually the fisheye is less noticeable since the photo only captures light near the center, where everything is less "fishy". This depends entirely on your camera though.

Be warned, a true wide-angle lens can be very expensive.
