Knowing Canon who keeps relying on Sony for LCD units, I am speculating the SD450/SD550 are using the same LCD as Sony W5/W7. Will Canon EVER have a hi-res LCD on a ELPH? It has not been long Canon used a larger LCD (2") but those are so lo-res

I don't think it's the same screen. Isn't the one on the W5/W7 a hybrid screen? I don't think Canon has those.
