I just bought a Canon G6 and I'm adding already more accesories to expand my photo capturing possibilities...I started to evaluate the Telephoto TC-DC58 and to my surprise the camera manual states that "you may only use this lens with the focal length set to the maximum telephoto setting" ?? and then it adds that "at other zoom settings the image will not appear correctly"
Does this mean that this lens will only allow me one zoom setting (maximum optical 4.0 and that's it ? is this the min zoom setting if I want to use this lens ?
So, if for argument sake we say that the converter has a 2x mag power (I know is a bit less) and at the max telephoto setting og the camera (I assume 4x = 140mm) then this multiply by 2x = 280 mm ? What about the zooming in between 140mm and 280 mm is that just not possible ??
Does anybody have any experience with this specific lens??
