Hi all,
I was on a tour to switzerland for a week, ofcourse with my wife and with my DX 6490 and I shot about 600 photos. What I found after using this camera extensively is, Kodak is unbeatable in colors, DX 6490 is an all-round camera which works in all weather. I shot photos from the windows of flight(while flying), fast trains, in rainy days, in nights, cloudy low lights, snowy glares with bright sun over head. Every condition it performed absolutely satisfactory.

Atindra,

Welcome back from your tour in Switzerland. I hope you enjoyed it - well, your pictures show you had a great time.
I don't have enough words to describe these awesome pictures. They're amazing, and I can say I totally agree with you that Kodak is unbeatable in color. The image quality is very very good!
Anyways, lovely photos - you've captured some lovely views. I love the flower pictures (I just love it when people take flower pictures after the rain... I like the effect of wet flowers), the water pictures (great capture at the right time!), landscape and buliding pictures, and the sunset-by-the-sea pictures.
Wow... You've done a really great job on these. I'm highly impressed. The DX6490 has incredible capabilities!
Looks like you were in a very beautiful place... You must be very happy with the great photos you have, that will be a souvenir from your visit there.

Thanks Jonathan,
Yes switzerland is nodoubt beautiful, and dx 6490 is a gem, it works absolutely fine in almost all conditions. Its compact size is an important advantage, that one feels while traveling. After my amature adventure I would like to go for telephoto and wide-angle lenses and couple of filters.
