I need help in deciding which camera(s) to get. I like taking auto racing at road courses, especially sport cars and open wheel. I also enjoy nature and the typical family shots.

I was orginally thinking about getting the XT for racing, etc. and the A95 as a carry around and backup for the races due to its flexibility. After spending some time on this forum I am wondering if there is a better option. The S2 sounds nice for the zoom but I am wondering if it is fast enough for the racing photos. The Pro1 or G6 might be a possibility for the racing which would give me a lighter camera for all around use. But here again is it fast enough.

I would appreciate any opionions, recommendations or combinations for my requirements.

Thanks for your help everyone!

From what I've read it seems that a dSLR is the best way to go for high speed action photos. SLRs have virtually no shutter lag and may have features to allow you to track moving objects better or predict focus.
