Hi,
Happily started using my S2 :)
Two questions however that an expert user can surely answer already :D
1st - Super macro:
The manual says to click on the macro sign (tulip) a few times until the S shows in the tulip, but this does not happen. What am I doing wrong?
2nd - Video:
Recorded some short movies as well, but can I not view those with the Canon software that I just loaded onto my computer?
What is the easiest, best way to select and view the movies?
Thx for the help!!!

TO turn on the super macro mode (the manual is wrong), just hold down the macro button until the S appears.
I didn't have problems playing the videos with the standard windows media player on XP. They are motion JPEGs if that helps.

When trying to go into Super Macro mode - make sure there is no Zoom. Super Macro can only be used in the widest lens angle.
When in regular Macro - you can still zoom in and out .
I did not find any problem with viewing the movies on regular media player .

Hi from Belgium. You should read your user's manuel, page 57 : Super Macro is avalaible in mode : video, custom, P, TV, AV, M. So, not automatic mode. Try access Super Macro in P mode for example.
For seeing the movie, you should have installed from the Canon disc the QuickTime program. Hope this help.
