hello! i own a canon powershot s400 and while it's a great little camera, it has a few issues that i'm unhappy with... for one, it takes quite a while to focus when using the focus assist lamp. in addition, i really don't like the flash on the s400... as all my friends have noticed, it makes everybody look artificial and makes the colors too red/warm and "off." my friend has a sony cybershot dsc-w1 which, in my opinion, has a much better flash and the colors turn out more realistically. i'm considering purchasing the dsc-w1 myself, but do any of you have recommendations for other similar cameras I should consider, that can focus quickly and have a good flash? I'd appreciate any input.

For example, here is a picture with my S400:

And here is one with my friend's DSC-W1, please excuse the faces:

Fuji F10 performs great in dark conditions from what people are saying.

I own Kodak v550 and it's got a great flash, I've had no complaints about it, especially with the fact that I'm a DJ, and I take it on the go to the clubs and shows, and mostly take pics in dark atmosphere, sometimes it seems a bit too strong as well.
