Just purchased a d50; it's great. Can't find any info, though, in the manual or in any of the reviews, concerning the practical differences in resolution/file size. For example, jpeg fine/medium and jpeg normal/large are very close in terms of file size. Is there any appreciable difference between one and the other when printing photos? I'd also like to know if there is any info out there about the best choice in resolution/file size when making different size prints, and so forth. Thanks!!

Eventually you will shoot in RAW/NEF. Until then shoot in JPEG fine at full resolution. You own a dSLR now, not a point-n-shoot.
