I'm new to photography and this is going to be my first camera. I'm looking for a cheap camera (<$250) that's convenient to carry around when travelling. I would also like manual controls to experiment with.
The Canon PowerShot A510 is almost ideal but I'd prefer something a bit smaller. Are there other cameras in this price range with manual controls?
