Sunrise/low light shots - A95

Hi fellas

I have a Canon A95, and will be doing a photoshoot of my brothers band this saturday, just before, during, and a bit after sunrise. Thing is, im not convinced theyll look any good with the aid of a flash.

They're gonna immerse themselves in a lake up to their neck, and have some shots on a hill silhouetted, etc.

Im total amateur when it comes to photography, so just need some advice on what setting ranges on the camera to use, and any other tips and tricks people have up their sleeves they can pass on.

Ahhh tomorrows the day! Guess ill just have a play... any advice, especially specific to the a95, would be great.

I'm no pro but I know enough to understand there is no set instructions for any given settings. Too many factors involved, amount/quality of light, different circumstance; etc. All you can do is to understand aparture and shutter, be observant to others' works, get familiar with your A95 then practise again and again.
