Hello All, I have a Dimage F100, whilst visiting Spain I had to use new batteries, (bought locally)and from the time I loaded these, the camera will not now work. The symptoms are:- from switching on to “auto”, the “power access lamp works (green), and after a few seconds “3 zeros” (000), and the battery indicator, are displayed in the data panel, and if I turn to “set up” the letters “set” appear. Nothing from the LCD monitor, and no reaction from any of the other buttons. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks. Mick.

Either your problem is not familiar with others here, or your explanation is not clear. I am not an F100 owner so I don't understand your problem description, but since no one else is answering, may I suggest reading the camera review to see if there's anything there that helps?

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I have an F200 which is similar to your camera. You didn't mention what type of batteries you bought but if they weren't NiMH batteries which you then fully charged they won't power the F100 for long! The F series of cameras draw lots of current and need good high capacity NiMH batteries to give satisfactory results.

Thanks for your replies, I have contacted the customer services at konica, they inform me they want £120 (plus post and insurance) to have a look at the camera, they also informed me it may cost more to repair it. Guess who is going back to 35 mm.
