New DX7440 Pictures

Hey guys,

I have some new pictures that I've taken with my Kodak (http://www.kodak.com) EasyShare DX7440 (http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=2244&pq-locale=en_US) digital camera. I know I've said that a lot, but it's a really excellent feature-packed camera, very aesthetic and nicely designed, that delivers superb pictures at a fantastic quality.

Macro Shots - Flowers, Plants and Fruit
I went on a walk in the neighborhood, including my aunt's house that includes a lovely garden... Found some very pretty flowers to photograph, and was very satisfied with the results. Aside from all sorts of flower pictures, you'll find some pictures of the lemons and mandarins that are growing on my aunt's trees.

Animal Shots - Dog, Snake and Cat
I found the dog and the snake (first time ever that I was so close to a snake) on the street, thought I'd take a few pictures. I thought it would be interesting to take some pictures of a snake, and the dog looked really cute so I thought I'd snap some... Turned out pretty good!
The cat came to visit us in our yard... She began feeling pretty comfortable in our garden, and ate some bread pieces that I had left for the birds the other day. She was so beautiful in my opinion, and I couldn't help but take some cat shots.

Please, share your comments, tips and thoughts... I'd appreciate any reply.
No modification has been made to the photos. Just had to resize them so that I could upload them... A 2304x1728 image is also pretty heavy in KBs.

Hey Jon, where did you find those snakes? I didnt see any snake since I came in Israel. I like wild life. May be you can guide me to travel around. I am planing to visit Tel-aviv safari in october.

It's a funny story - I just happened to run into it by accident and I was with my camera - I'm so glad I was.
I don't like snakes very much and had never seen one before. It was one day when I was on my way somewhere that I met two kids, 10-11 years old, that had found a snake and hidden it under a carton box so it wouldn't get away and hurt them.
I asked them what they were doing and they showed me the snake. I thought it was so cool so I had to take a few shots.
I thought it was nice to finally have a chance to take pictures of something more special, more fascinating, rather than just flowers. And that dog was around so I thought it would be nice to take a few pictures of it too.
I live near Rehovot, and I'm guessing you can find snakes anywhere, but they normally won't just pop up. I'm sure you'll see some in the safari, and even if you won't, it's a great place, and there'll be other nice things to photograph.

It's nice that you're coming to visit. I'm not very knowledgeable about traveling in Israel... The best I can do is tell you to buy a guide. They're very helpful.

A printed guide and a guiding friend are lot different dear. Anyway I have lonely-planet for Israel. I heared there are few snakes in Weizmann campus but I never saw them.
