Sony memory stick data recovery

Does anyone know if data can be recovered from a memory stick after it has been deleted using the camera? I have not reformated or taken any subsequent pictures.

Wow! Talk about a timely question! I JUST received my latest PC Magazine yesterday and last night I skimmed an article that covers this very topic "Recovering images from memory cards". Not sure if it covers your problem exactly, but it's a great article to start with (mentions two softwares for about 30$ that each do the job...they might have trial versions)

It's on page 66 of the August 23rd issue, has a Rubic's Cube kind-of cover. Not sure if it might be on their website (www.pcmag.com (http://www.pcmag.com/))

You can try http://www.z-a-recovery.com/digital-image-recovery.htm . I have used it with my Sony F-717 and it worked fine. Also used it with an old Oly and it worked. It's free, so worth a shot.
