I was given a digital camera tiny and ball shaped with no markings. its blue and black with a button top maybe about the size of a golfball and a half. I have no cd for installation so I have no idea what to do. Is there something I can run that tells me what type it even is or what I need in order to install it.
thanks
matt

If it has a USB cord sticking out of it it's probably a webcam and not a digital camera. Sounds like something made by Logitech.
Does it look sorta like this:

If so, all you need to do is plug the cord into your computer and it should automatically recognize it. If it needs software, the computer should recognize it at least enough to identify the brand and/or model so you can find and search the manufacturer's website for software downloads.

Plug it into your computer under (preferably Windows XP) and it should install automatically or at least a message will pop up telling you what it is.
