Help with Photography Course Please

Hello All

I have just started a photography course and am really enjoying it, though there is alot of technical aspects and it's been a long time since I have studied anything since school. I have run into a bit of a jam....I have a question in one of my assignments that I cannot find in any of the notes I have been given and have read and was wondering if anyone could help me.

The question is: What is the fastest shutter speed that you would set on your camera if you were using a flash indoors and why?

I really would appreciate any help I can get...

The answer, I believe, is at the maximum synch speed of that particular camera. Most cameras have a sych speed of 1/60th of a second. However, there are indeed cameras in the market place that have synch speed up to 1/250th.
