EOS10d + EF 100mm F2.8 MACRO USM Lens

Does the new EF 100mm F2.8 MACRO USM Lens fit the EOS 10D?

I've asked local dealers and they all 'think' so but nobody seems certain.

I can not think of any reason why a EF 100mm macro would not fit on a 10D.

Same mount as every other modern Canon SLR/dSLR. I can't fathom why someone would think it doesn't fit.
