SLR difference?

I am seriously considering on buying a DSLR camera. My first (currently use Olympus C-765). Being the impatient person that I usually am, I would like to be able to use the camera fairly quickly, and not spend several days (or weeks) learning how to use it. I am considering some entery level cameras like the Digital Rebel, Nikon D50 or 70, and the Evolt. So I guess my main question is, what items would be the main things I would need to learn in order to effectively start using a DSLR. Thanks in advance for all your help!.................doug

go to a photography store or electronics store and try them out.
Use auto mode, as they all have them while you learn. Later you can experiment and leave auto mode.

Have you not considered the rebel xt?
