Anyone order a battery off eBay?

I was looking at an extra battery for my SD500 and see you can get them off eBay for about $7 (shipped). Just curious if anyone got them or have any warnings, etc?

I bought a battery on Ebay for my (now old) Fuji 6800Z. It was cheap, arrived fast, and has worked perfectly. I bought it a couple of years ago, so I don't remember the seller's ID. As with anything on Ebay, check out their feedback, return policies, and general look and feel of the auction. If anything looks "off" to you or you feel uncomfortable with a particular seller's auction, find someone else selling the same thing. There are lots of battery sellers on Ebay - compare shipping costs and payment methods and stated mailing times (some people mail every day, others mail once a week).

I checked out the feedback and it appeared as though the only gripes were things like not responding quick enough and slow shipping. This was some powerseller with a 10k rating and 98% positive.

I was mainly checking to make sure these would at least function and not start spitting acid into the camera in a month or something :).
