WOW!!! have you guys checked out the new casio EX-S500 ??!!??

It's got amazing movie mode and scene modes aplenty (more than 30!!). Plus it comes in really cool colours!!

Not only am i wowed by the fact that the picture quality is supposed to be excellent...I think that it might be better in low light as the flash is stronger.
The movie mode can save upto 37 minutes of video on an SD card as compared to the SD400's 8 minutes.

Only problem is the EX-S500 doesn't have an optical viewfinder or any manual modes. Yes...yes...big drawbacks...i know...but the movie mode is WOW!! You can use the 30 scene modes while shooting your movie. Plus, the Past Movie mode records continuously but only stores 5 seconds of video in the buffer, and saves it to the card when you press the shutter button. This means that the movie starts recoeding 5 seconds before you click the shutter button!!!

I was looking to get the Canon SD400 but now it looks like the Casio Exilim EX-S500 is giving it a good run for it's money...what do you guys think???

No viewfinder, no good :-( Sorry, but I can't do without one, especially for shooting sport scenes, I can't track with the cam off my nose ;-)
