Which camera do you guys think is the best for low-light situations. I will be using the one i buy indoors and in plenty of low light situations as i generally work during the night and spend most of my day sleeping.

Is the Canon sd400 any good in this area?

I also love the movie mode on the camera and the continuous mode.

Please let me guys know what you think.

Thanks

A dslr, which have ISO's of 1600-3200, are by far the best, especially with a fast prime lens.

No, and in fact most point&shoots are mediocre to poor in low light.

Since you are thinking of a small camera, I would suggest that you look at the Fuji F-10, which is most likely the small camera with the best low light performace.

Low -light with a flash preferbly.
I have the SD300, pretty similar to the SD400, and it is just adequate in low light, with or without flash. Since that's not a big concern for me this was a good camera choice, but it low light is high on your list I'm not sure this is the right one.
