I can't decide between these three cameras. I heard the T7 has bad image quality, I can't find ANYTHING reputable about the v550 (but the price just drags me in), and I know the SD500 is a great camera, but I really want a large screen and less thickness. I'm going to be taking the camera on a Hawaii trip, and I would like to know the best to take photos with while I'm there. Most (if not all) shots would be taken outdoors, both day and night. Would the T7's outdoor night shots be good enough? I'd really appreciate any help... Thanks!

A month ago, Walter Mossberg (personal technology columnist) of the Wall Street Journal rated the slim 7 MP cameras....it actually picked the kodak 550 as "the winner" followed by the SD500 (they thought it was a $100 too much) so I don't think you can go wrong with the Kodak-he's reviews are pretty accurate and fair. I would rule out the Sony esp. if it's for a vacation where you are capturing "once-in-a-lifetime" moments. If the SD500 is too thick, the SD300/SD400 are also very highly regarded. I personally recommend Panasonic FX7 for the ultracompact with the best image quality-it's TINY but has image stabilization ! Very Highly Rated Cam ! As for SONY, their P200 is Great !
