Been playing with my FL28 flash...

Had some fun this afternoon taking flower shots and trying the "Macro Mode" on this flash. Slowly getting better results.

For some reason I can only see red crosses surrounded by the letters and . Anyone know why these images wont display when they obviously did for meillana?

I have the same problem, usually I just right click and slect "show picture" but its not working this time!!! :confused:

They are showing perfectly at this end.
Maybe the site where they are hosted was down.

Try it again. It should work.

To Meillana,

I took about 300 shots on the weekend. My initial findings using the DMW-FL28 flash are as follows:

1. Auto setting on flash and camera on Ext Flash set to "preset" will generally give good results. However you only have F/2.8 on camera. You can ofcourse adjust the Flash setting if needed like F/4 or F5.6

2. When using Flash setting "Auto Macro" I found that the camera Ext Flash setting needs to be Manual. You can then choose F/8 on camera and that will generally work with a flash setting of Auto Macro F/8 (green column on flash. If the FZ20 could go F/11 and F/16 we would have had more choices.

3. Haven't used manual setting on the flash much yet.

Will take some more this oncoming weekend and keep track of all settings exactly that is camera and flash.

It appears sofar that the FL28 can give fantastic results IMHO.
