Need Help!

im looking for a good camera that doesnt have to be too compact in size.. (it would be nice if its travel size. does not have to be) that takes very very good quality pictures and is not too expensive.

cheaper than 500 dollars and around 4-5 megapixels.
good zoom.
and overall a good camera.

i have the canon sd410 but i want something that will give me better quality.

canon cameras are good. and the only company i am familiar with however other brands are ok too

also what is the best canon powershot camera?

for those who read this PLEASE give me any feedback soon because i need to buy a camera by the end of next wednesday. thanks!

Canon G-series cameras are the best of their "prosumer" cameras - I don't think you'll get a G6 for that price but maybe one of the older G models.

Check out the Canon S1 IS or the new S2 IS...Panasonic FZ5...Sony H1 since you mentioned good zoom. For 3-4x optical, I'd recommend the Canon S70 or Sony W5/W7-hope this helps. Btw, try not to "double post" - you should delete the other one before the moderators do...
