These are the two choices that I have narrowed down my digicam search to, and now I'm having a hard time trying to decide. My shots would be mostly of my kids, some inside and some outside and maybe some landscapes and macro flower pics.

I have no real experience with a camera, just point and shoot, and am worried that messing the f10's ISO settings would be a rough task until I figured out what is the right setting for the shot. I'm also concerned with the reviews that say the Nikon 7900 has some trouble with low light shots, which the f10 excels in.

Thanks in advance for any further information!

Personally I think the Nikon 7900 would make a better overall camera, especially if you plan on using the flash on "auto" setting (i.e. using the flash when there's not enough light without it). The Fuji F10 will excel at taking pictures without a flash in lower light conditions. However, it lacks an optical viewfinder and the LCD doesn't gain up that much in low light. The Nikon, on the other hand, has an AF-assist lamp, in-camera redeye reduction, and good performance.

But don't take my word for it - try them out for yourself.
