My last post on this forum EVER...from Macy's 4th of July fireworks display over the East River in NYC...for those of you who could not be there....my gift to you...

Nice shot. And the reason for leaving is? Sorry, I quit reading all of the threads, so must have missed something.

I would like to echo George's comments. There certainly not enough free hours in the days to follow every thread and reading between the lines I have obviously missed something.

JTL really sorry to see you go. Thanks for sharing all those excellent shots and I hope you may return in in the near future. Your presence will be greatly missed.

Hope you come back. You've been so helpful sharing what you know and being able to express it in ways easy to understand. Definitely a loss for the people who really want to learn and to those who look forward to your photo contributions. Know you're going to have a ton of amazing pics with your S2 and all the accessories. Eventually you might take pity on us poor dummies and guide us along. Wishing you all the happiness and good times. :)

So, just out of curiousity, I back-tracked on the Canon boards (S2 problem).

Yikes! I know how that feels. You try to right a wrong, and get a "ration" in the process.

So hang out on the photos thread. Where trolls fear to tread, and we always appreciate your eye for the city.

And hey, we need our "Island Shooter" to keep track of what's new from Central Park to The Battery. What a great city to shoot.

I found this forum because of your S2 tips. Your advice and comments to me have always been great! You are a positive contributor here, hate to see you stop posting.
